Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse \(LPN\) \(1\.0 FTE, Day Shift\) to work in Colorectal Surgery Clinic at Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA\.
The Licensed Practical Nurse \(LPN\) performs direct nursing care activities as a member of a multidisciplinary team\. The LPN provides nursing care under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse \(RN\) to patients in routine nursing situations, where the patient is considered stable and relatively free of complexity\.
Schedule & Travel:
Main office is First Hill in downtown Seattle but once a week will go to Renton\. As needed to cover sick and PTO, may need to cover other sites but does not happen often
In this position you will:
Contribute to the assessment of the patient
Participate in development of plan of care and implement aspects of care as directed by the RN
Maintain client safety
Participate in evaluating care and delegating care to qualified others such as nursing assistants
High Level Disinfection procedure
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate from an accredited school of Practical Nursing
Current Practical Nurse licensed to practice in Washington State
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Certified in Pharmacology by the National Association for Practical Nurse Education and Services \(NAPNES\) or National League of Nursing
Experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse \(LPN\)
