Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Physical Therapist Lead \(1\.0 FTE, Days\) to work in Renton Rehab Services\.
The lead physical therapist acts as a resource for other staff members\. This includes such duties as communicating instructions, training employees, performing scheduling/staffing, assisting with program development and quality assurance\. This job description includes all responsibilities of a staff therapist\.
In this position you will:
Must demonstrate the ability to assess data and interpret information in order to identify patient needs\.
Must be able to provide physical therapy care in accordance with licensure specifications and must have an understanding of the practices of occupational therapy, speech/language pathology and therapeutic recreation professions\.
Ability to deal with difficult situations as they occur\.
Ability to cope with continual interruptions and display a large degree of tact when dealing with physicians, patients, employees, visitors and the community\.
Ability to make decisions\. Ability to follow directions, retain learned information, cooperate and function as a part of the team\.
Must have strong organizational skills, ability to promote change to facilitate achievement of the mission

Assiststhe department manager with day to day leadership related activities asneeded\. The role will assist in supporting clinical programs to reachdepartmental goals in a cost effective manner\.
Required qualifications for this position include:
A graduate of an approved/accredited program in physical therapy\.
Valid PT license in the state of Washington\. CPR required\.
Minimum 2\-3 years clinical experience in related field\.
For designated therapists completing home safety evaluations access to a vehicle or transportation is required\.
A valid driver's license and valid vehicle registration form is required\.
In the case of a newly relocated individual, a Washington state license must be acquired under the circumstances and within the required timeframe set by the state of Washington\.\.
