BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Maintains and fosters practice success by coordinating, directing and overseeing the operations and fiscal health of the practice. Responsible for encouraging optimum performance of employees and establishing work systems, policies and procedures to ensure vision of the providers and East Tennessee Children's Hospital.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum Education: Bachelors Preferred. Minimum Work Experience: 5-7 years of healthcare management experience supervising a minimum of 10 employees preferred. Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Strong organization and management skills, Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with staff and providers, Strong decision making-skills and attention to detail a plus. Strategic and "big picture"thinking", Efficient, Organized and Resourcefu.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Medium lifting, pushing and pulling is required for 20-50 lbs occasionally, 10-20 lbs frequently and 10 lbs constantly to move objects. Sudden emergency situations have the potential for exposure to lifting or moving of up to 100 lbs. Frequent bending, walking, sitting, squatting, reaching and standing are required.
