BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB Manages individualized, goal-directed nursing care through use of the nursing process and the principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures. Responsible and accountable for the phone triage advice given to patients through the After Hours Program. JOB REQUIREMENTS Minimum Education Bachelors Preferred Minimum Work Experience Pediatric nursing experience preferred. Ambulatory and urgent/emergent care preferred. Required Licenses/Certifications for position Nursing Licensure for State of Tennessee Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Excellent communication and customer service skills. Demonstrated clinical abilities. Interest and skills in patient education. Light lifting, pushing and pulling is required for 10-20 lbs occasionally and frequent moving of objects of less than 10 lbs is required.
