The Physician (Provider) Recruiter role handles all aspects of Physician recruitment, APP recruitment, Locum and Contracted Provider Recruitment and needs, Assists Clinic Managers as requested, and assists with Reports and data collection as requested.
The Provider Relations role is responsible for collaborating, facilitating, and maintaining key relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure a successful transition for all new St. Vincent employed providers. Responsibilities of this role are to effectively liaise with providers and facilitate the on-boarding and off-boarding processes. Responsibilities may include responding to general questions, identifying and resolving issues, researching and resolving inquiries from the providers.
Completes general administrative tasks and oversees daily departmental workflow activities.

Oversees all aspects of Physician Recruitment
Oversees all aspects of APP recruitment
Oversees all aspects of Locum and Contracted Provider needs and recruitment
Assist in obtaining signatures and follow-thru with Provider contracts as requested
Assists Clinic Managers, Directors and Administration as requested
Ensures smooth onboarding process for all new providers
Reports and data collection as requested

Provider Relations - Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provider Support Responsibilities
Implements standard operating procedures into the care site for the on-boarding and off-boarding of all employed St. Vincent providers.
Responsible for coordinating with internal stakeholders to establish goals for on-boarding programs.
Works with other departments to assess appropriate provider on-boarding content and delivery.
Coordinates and shares best practices and standards to support other various on-boarding programs.
Communicates needed infrastructure and resources to support on-boarding and off-boarding programs.
Maintains knowledge of the overall St. Vincent organizational structure and conveys this to the new providers during the on-boarding process.
Supports newly employed providers through professional communication and interactions.
Provides regular communication and summaries to internal stakeholders, notifying them of all provider onboarding and off-boarding updates.
Coordinates administration meet-and-greet sessions to facilitate familiarity with organizational goals and expectations placed on providers, to include follow-up meetings at 30 and 90-day post start date. Also, new provider survey to obtain feedback from physicians and advanced practice providers regarding the on-boarding process and opportunities for process improvement.
Maintains dashboards for physician recruitment activity.
Provides support to other provider-related projects as appropriate.
Coordinates with key stakeholders to schedule new provider for orientation programs and successfully navigates through the On-boarding Process Checklist?
Communicates and coordinates with St. Vincent Healthcare departments once physician contract has been executed by physician and St. Vincent Healthcare business plan has been received.
Contract implementation coordination to ensure timely completion of all agreed-upon tasks:
Facilitates Provider Relations-specific Orientation timeline to include education and training specific to St. Vincent Healthcare information systems, protocols and procedures.
Responsible for ensuring timely completion of all required documentation for new provider hires.
Facilitates meetings with clinic leadership team to ensure on-boarding meets the needs of new providers in the designated clinic.
Coordinates with Physician Network Operations to ensure all preparations have been scheduled and completed for the physician to begin in the clinic (schedule, office space, staff, etc.)
Ensures coordination of all department processes to ensure that physician/provider is fully credentialed/enrolled with all payers prior to the date of hire.
Coordinates the provider departure process for St. Vincent providers, including timely notification to internal stakeholders when provider and/or St. Vincent give notice of a provider termination.
Collaborate with Medical Staff Services and other internal entities to ensure that provider accounts are appropriately maintained or de-activated through the termination process.
Assist Clinic Manager or Service Line Director to ensure all needed tasks related to off-boarding are completed
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or minimum six years' experience working directly with physicians in a clinical setting in lieu of degree.
Minimum two years healthcare experience working with physicians in a clinic or hospital setting.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel between multiple locations.
Strong written communication, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to successfully function in a fast paced, service oriented environment
Experience in understanding and usage of computers, including Lotus 123 and the Microsoft Office suite, as well as the ability to learn applications relevant to the position
