Orlando Health is seeking one prenatal AND one cancer genetic counselor to join our genetics team consisting of four prenatal genetic counselors, three pediatric genetic counselors, two cancer genetic counselors and three pediatric geneticists.
Requirements: • Master’s Degree in Genetic Counseling. • Board Certified/Eligible by the American Board of Medical Genetics or American Board of Genetic Counseling. • Able to translate complex medical information for patients and health professionals. • Strong communication, critical thinking and organizational skills. • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple responsibilities. • Experience giving presentations preferred but not required. • Genetic counseling experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
Prenatal Genetic Counselor Position Full time, board certified or board eligible genetic counselor for large prenatal diagnosis program at Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies (14,000 + deliveries/year). Position includes diverse patient population of prenatal and preconception patients and multidisciplinary care coordination. Join 4 prenatal counselors and 7 Perinatologists. Collaborate with pediatric geneticists and genetic counselors to service the world’s largest NICU.

Cancer Genetic Counselor Position Orlando Health UF Health Cancer Center is looking to hire a full time, board certified or board eligible genetic counselor to join the Cancer Genetics Center. Position includes providing cancer genetic counseling to patients with a personal and/or family history of cancer. Our center consults families with various cancers including breast, gynecologic and gastrointestinal cancer. Collaborate with oncologists and surgeons, educate other healthcare providers and provide community education.
