Summary: The SoftwareArchitect is a seasoned IT professional with advanced proficiency in softwarearchitecture, software development, business requirements and excellentcustomer skills. The Software Architect will possess a good understanding ofUML and/or related methodologies to create functions and user interfaces ofdesired product. In addition, must possess a very good knowledge of softwarearchitecture, software development, business analysis, software requirements,project management, web infrastructure, and web server setup/security. The Software Architect will:
Collaborate with other professionals to determine functionaland non-functional requirements for new software or extensive revisions forcustomers and will also serve as the one of the organization's top-leveltechnical expert on software development, deployment, and maintenance.
Create high-level architectural specifications, addressproblems relating to systems integration and compatibility using the latesttechnology.
Perform research on the potential project feasibility andpresent it to management, develop high-level product specifications withattention to system integration and feasibility, able to define all aspects ofdevelopment from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards andsuccessfully communicates all development and deployment concepts andguidelines to the development and any other appropriate teams.
Oversee the progress of the development team to ensureconsistency with the initial design, provide technical guidance, coaching otherstaff and ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security,modifiability, extensibility, integrability etc.
Function as a specialist on complex technical and businessmatters, work independently without supervision and may sometimes assume a teamlead role for projects
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technicalfield required.
10+ years' experience in software architecture/developmentis required.
Experience of development in C#.NET is required.
Experience of architecting solutions in a Microsoftenvironment is required.
Master's degree in computer science or related technicalfield preferred.
2+ years' experience of working in a Health Care environmentpreferred.
Experience of implementing/working with continuousintegration is a plus.
Experience of Microsoft SharePointDevelopment/Administration is a plus.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification:
Microsoft Software Architecture certification is a plus.
Software Architecture/UML certification is a plus.
PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) is a plus.
Knowledge and Experience
Experience serving as an organization's top-level technicalexpert on software architecture, infrastructure, development, and deployment.
Proficient at creating high-level architecturalspecifications, addressing problems relating to systems integration andcompatibility by using the latest technology, have a very good understanding ofUML & related methodologies to create representations of user interfacesfor the desired product.
Experience of collaborating with other professionals todetermine functional and non-functional requirements for new software orextensive revisions for customers.
Knowledge and experience of performing research on thepotential project feasibility and presenting it to management and ability todevelop high-level product specifications and feasibility with attention tosystem integration.
Knowledge and expertise of defining all the various aspectsof development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards andsuccessfully communicating all development and deployment concepts andguidelines to the development team.
Experience of overseeing the progress of development team toensure consistency with the initial design and provide technical guidance andcoaching to developers and analysts.
Expertise of ensuring that software meets all requirementsof quality, security, modifiability, extensibility, integrability etc. Musthave a proven record of being a specialist on complex technical and businessmatters, able to work independently without supervision and experience ofleading major development efforts on a team.
Knowledge of developing complex software solutions, softwareanalysis and requirements, project management, web infrastructure and a goodsense for security and information protection.
