USONV is a busy full service urology group practice that engages in all of the sub - disciplines of urology. There is a dedicated pediatric urologist in the group and also a radiation oncologist. Position location is on Goldring Avenue in Las Vegas.** Primary Responsibilities:Answer all phone calls from 3 phone queues (scheduling, high priority and overflow) Intake all demographic information for new patients Update demographic information for existing patients Collect insurance information Request medical records from the primary care and referring physician for new patients Schedule, reschedule and cancel patients' appointments Route calls throughout the office to the appropriate department Relay messages from patients to the appropriate individual Perform intake consultation requests from physicians for on call physician Follow up on consultation requests until request has been completed Work the @your service web site for HPN referrals Other responsibilities as assigned
Required Qualifications:High school diploma or GED 1+ yrs. recent medical phone scheduling experience or 1+ yrs. healthcare / medical call center experience Microsoft Office proficiencyPreferred Qualifications:Bilingual Spanish Careers with Optum.
