PeaceHealth Medical Group / St John Medical Center in Longview, Washington is actively seeking a CRNA to join our 14 member Anesthesia team within our 125-member multi-specialty group. PeaceHealth St John Medical Center is a Level III, 346 bed, state of the art, community, not-for profit medical center.
Position offers an exciting practice opportunity:
Collaborative, independent practice with 14 anesthesiologists and CRNA's
Four 10 hour OR shifts
Opportunity to pick up additional OB shifts as available
Excellent OR's and equipment, tenured surgical staff
Comprehensive surgical services at St John including orthopedics, breast, colorectal, vascular
Longview, Washington is located along the Columbia River and I-5 corridor just 40 minutes north of Portland, Oregon, and is an hour from the Pacific Ocean, 2 hours south of Seattle, and 1.5 hours to beautiful mountains to enjoy hiking and snow sports. Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA) or its predecessor
Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to apply age specific principles of growth and development and life stages to meet each patient's needs
Three years experience in obstetric anesthesia with strong skills in regional anesthesia preferred.
Eligible for medical staff classification as Allied Health Professional
Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice required OR Current Advance Nurse Practitioner License in the state of practice required.
Current certification by the Council on Certification or Re-certification of Nurse Anesthetists required.
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
Obstetrics department: Current Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) required.
