This is a Telephonic Case Manager position working with our High Risk OB members. The schedule for the position is Monday - Friday 11:00am - 8:00pm CST. This position will require active and unrestricted Nursing licensure in multiple US States. Selected candidate must be willing and able to obtain and maintain multiple state licensure. (Application fees and filing costs paid for by UHG.)Primary Responsibilities:Assess for high-risk pregnancy via telephonic assessments and provide education for healthy pregnancy Provide a complete continuum of quality care through close communication with members via phone interaction Support members with condition education, medication reviews and connections to resources Assist members with the transition from a care facility back to their home Interact with providers' offices regarding clinical updates and resource locatingThis is high volume, customer service environment. You'll need to be efficient, productive and thorough dealing with our members over the phone. Strong computer and software navigation skills are critical. You should also be strongly patient-focused and adaptable to changes.
Required Qualifications:2+ years of High Risk OB clinical nursing experience + current / prior position as a Case Manager OR 3+ years of High Risk OB clinical nursing experience Current, unrestricted RN license in TexasMultiple state licensure (in addition to Compact License if applicable) or ability to obtain multiple state nursing licenses Computer / typing proficiency to enter / retrieve data in electronic clinical records; experience with email, Internet research, use of online calendars and other software applications Problem solving skills; the ability to systematically analyze problems, draw relevant conclusions and devise appropriate courses of action Ability to communicate complex or technical information in a manner that others can understand, as well as ability to understand and interpret complex information from othersAbility to work Monday - Friday 11:00am - 8:00pm CSTReside within a commutable distance of Richardson, TXPreferred Qualifications:Bilingual Spanish Access to secure high speed Internet via cable / DSL in home Case Management experience CCM Managed care experience / Insurance industry experienceAnswer the call to use your diverse knowledge and experience to make health care work better for our patients.
