Summary: The Software Architect is a seasoned IT professional with advanced proficiency in software architecture, software development, business requirements and excellent customer skills. The Software Architect will possess a good understanding of UML and/or related methodologies to create functions and user interfaces of desired product. In addition, must possess a very good knowledge of software architecture, software development, business analysis, software requirements, project management, web infrastructure, and web server setup/security. The Software Architect will:
Collaborate with other professionals to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or extensive revisions for customers and will also serve as the one of the organization's top-level technical expert on software development, deployment, and maintenance.
Create high-level architectural specifications, address problems relating to systems integration and compatibility using the latest technology.
Perform research on the potential project feasibility and present it to management, develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility, able to define all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards and successfully communicates all development and deployment concepts and guidelines to the development and any other appropriate teams.
Oversee the progress of the development team to ensure consistency with the initial design, provide technical guidance, coaching other staff and ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility, integrability etc.
Function as a specialist on complex technical and business matters, work independently without supervision and may sometimes assume a team lead role for projects
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field required.
10+ years' experience in software architecture/development is required.
Experience of development in C#.NET is required.
Experience of architecting solutions in a Microsoft environment is required.
Master's degree in computer science or related technical field preferred.
2+ years' experience of working in a Health Care environment preferred.
Experience of implementing/working with continuous integration is a plus.
Experience of Microsoft SharePoint Development/Administration is a plus.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification:
Microsoft Software Architecture certification is a plus.
Software Architecture/UML certification is a plus.
PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) is a plus.

Experience serving as an organization's top-level technical expert on software architecture, infrastructure, development, and deployment.
