Cook Children's Medical Center has an exciting full time opportunity for a BE/BC pediatrician to join our well established Inpatient Pediatrics Short Stay Unit.
Our 28-bed Short Stay Unit team, (comprised of 2 full time physicians and 7 advanced practice providers), provides medical diagnoses and treatment for pediatric patients requiring care for 24-48 hours. There is no in-hospital call.Patients are cared for 24/7 by pediatric nurse practitioners/physician assistants with telephone contact with our physicians.
Our short stay unit physicians also provide pediatric teaching to both medical students and residents.

Candidates must be board certified/board eligible in pediatrics and able to secure an unrestricted Texas medical license before commencement of employment.
