Summary: Midwives work as part of a team of professional and medical staff, providing a full range of primary health care services for women from adolescence beyond menopause. Midwives provide initial and ongoing comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and treatment. Certified Nurse Midwives will admit, manage and discharge patients. They can perform diagnostic tests and procedures.
