Nemours is seeking a Receiving Clerk (CASUAL/PRN) to join our Nemours Children's Specialty Care team in Jacksonville, Florida.
At our three clinic locations in the Jacksonville area, Nemours is a leading provider of pediatric specialty care in north Florida with many of our pediatric specialists regularly recognized as the âœBest Doctors in AmericaÂ®.â We offer comprehensive, family-centered care in more than 30 pediatric specialties. Several of those specialties, offered in collaboration with Wolfson Children's Hospital, have been named among the best in the country by U.S. News &; World Report.
Providing coverage, on an as-needed basis, to Receiving positions in North Florida locations due to associate absences. Position entails shipping, receiving, delivery, and mail sorting for Jacksonville Home Office and Clinic locations.
Perform in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance programs, and safety standards.
Receives incoming materials, supplies, and equipment and compares information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipments.
Visually inspects shipment for any signs of damage or defect; records discrepancies or damages in shipment and notifies supervisor or buyer.
Must deliver all received supplies to the requisitioner in accordance with instructions outlined on the purchase order.
Enter all applicable receipts into the Lawson system.
Coordinates items for shipment by commercial conveyance by preparing bills of lading and/ or other documents as required.
Review and ordering of copier paper for all copier machines within the location.
Handle minimal correspondence with clinical associates while in support role to ensure limited delays in needs of the organization being addressed.
High School Diploma required.
Minimum of three (3) to six (6) months experience required.
Satisfactory computer skills (e.g. Excel, Word, and Outlook).
Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
