Nemours is seeking an Account Advisory Specialist (Full-Time) to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida.
At Nemours, each Associate plays a vital role in supporting the delivery of world-class pediatric care to the children we serve. The team based at our home office in Jacksonville, Fla. provides essential administrative, financial and technical support to Nemours operations across all locations.
This job exists to answer incoming guarantor calls for assigned Service Area or Hospital. Resolution of guarantor questions or issues in accordance with established guidelines and procedures is essential. Provide Excellent Customer Service at all times ensuring each contact is a uniquely satisfying experience for the caller.
Answer incoming calls from guarantors.
Research and resolve issues for guarantors.
If resolution is not possible by the Account Advisory Specialist, elevate to the appropriate department or person.
Maintain production and accuracy to meet at least the minimums established for the department.
Work various reports as may be assigned. The reports include, but are not limited to, 1) large balance self pay accounts for both the practice and the hospital, 2) contacting the patient for correct insurance information (i.e., correct ID numbers, mailing address for claims, etc.) 3) Medicaid Pending reports. These accounts are to be researched and worked based on established guidelines.
When applicable, assist other departments within the CBO to assist in meeting the Balanced Score Card goals.
High School Diploma required.
Minimum of six (6) months to one (1) year experience required.
Excellent âœsoft skillsâ when speaking with guarantors.
Thorough knowledge of insurance payors for service area or hospital assigned.
