Nemours is seeking a Telecom Intern (PART-TIME, Internship) to join our team in Wilmington, Delaware.
Each Nemours Associate plays a vital role in supporting the delivery of world-class pediatric care to the children we serve. While our Corporate Services team may come from a variety of professional backgrounds, they are united by their commitment to service excellence and innovation.
The Telecom Intern's role is to assist the Telecom Team in the mission of delivering an exceptional video/audio conference and technology based meeting experience. This entails conference room and other audio visual equipment maintenance and support, telecom equipment (phones, jacks, voice mail configuration, etc.), creating &; managing user accounts, providing technical support, processing Help Desk tickets, and escalating to appropriate teams when necessary. In addition, the intern may assist in managing an integration partner as they perform upgrades and new installations. The intern will also assist in auditing conference room equipment to ensure that it is configured properly as defined by Nemours standards.
This is a great opportunity for a student studying Information Systems to get a broad introduction to IT support and the Healthcare industry. This internship is 20 hours per week with hours being flexible Monday through Friday.
Assist Telecom Analysts with project implementation
Round on conference spaces to ensure proper operation and configuration
Create and manage user accounts for related applications
Process Help Desk support request tickets
Provide assistance to customers using telecom related technology
Troubleshoot hardware &; application issues
Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedure documentation as needed
Works with all areas of Information Systems to improve processes and communication
Other projects and duties as assigned
