Princeton HealthCare System is currently searching for a Full Time, Days, Bariatric Surgery &; Metabolic Medicine Practice Coordinator LPN for Princeton Medicine Bariatric.
Position Summary: The Bariatric Surgery &; Metabolic Medicine Practice Coordinator, LPN is responsible for the day to day operation of the Bariatric Surgery Practice and the Medical Weight Loss Program (Metabolic Medicine) in Princeton Medicine. The Bariatric Surgery &; Metabolic Medicine Practice Coordinator, LPN will be responsible for ensuring both programs are managed effectively.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordination and Tracking of Bariatric Surgery and Metabolic Weight Loss Practice/ Programs.
Responsible for daily assignments, coordinate and delegate daily job duties to staff.
Responsible for rooming patients, taking vital signs and update all necessary information on EMR.
Responsible for ensuring that staff in the practice pre-certify and obtain authorization for any tests/procedures/medications as indicated.
Oversees and provide support to the staff by providing education and training in procedures or insurance requirements.
Coordinate Availability of Physician and Surgeons , as well as patient flow between the surgical and medical programs
All PHCS employees are required to receive an annual influenza vaccine unless they are granted a medical or religious exemption.
- High school diploma OR GED OR Equivalent
- At least one (1) year experience with an outpatient physician practice
- Current NJ licensure as Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Knowledge of billing and insurance
- Experience with EMR
- Technical diploma OR Associate's degree OR Bachelor's degree
- Prior experience with Bariatric Surgery &/or Weight Loss Management Practices
