Phoenixville Hospital is a 151-bed facility that provides comprehensive medical services through approximately 25,000 emergency room visits, 8,200 inpatient admissions and more than 500 community outreach programs annually. In addition, our Regional Rehab Center ranked in the Top 10 percent of 781 inpatient rehabilitation facilities.

Full-time Registered Nurse for Phoenixville Hospital's Cardiac Cardiac Cath Lab Hours: PRN shifts - Required to hold critical care skills and be prepared for an emergent situation to occur at any moment - Required to be familiar with all cardiac rhythms and coronary and peripheral anatomy - Responsible for keeping cath lab patients sedated and stable during procedures. - Must be able to administer sedation as ordered by the physicians. - The Cath Lab RN must have vast knowledge of coronary and peripheral procedure equipment - Expected to have a vast knowledge of cardiac drugs as they pertain to procedures and life saving measures. - Need to be able to take charge and coordinate the daily flow of a cath lab suite - Must communicate openly and respectfully to the physicians and other hospital departments giving accurate information about patient condition and procedure outcomes. - The Cath Lab RN must work hand and hand with Cath Lab Techs giving patients the best care possible.
Education: - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Current state Nurse license Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) Certification ACLS Certification CCRN, preferred Experience/Knowledge: Minimum 1-3 years experience as a Critical Care RN (such as Cardiovascular ICU or Emergency), required Previous cath lab experience, strongly preferred Preferred knowledge/experience in complex ablation procedures, device implant procedures, diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral cath procedures Must be able to Multi-task and work quickly and efficiently
