Phoenixville Hospital is a 151-bed facility that provides comprehensive medical services through approximately 25,000 emergency room visits, 8,200 inpatient admissions and more than 500 community outreach programs annually. In addition, our Regional Rehab Center ranked in the Top 10 percent of 781 inpatient rehabilitation facilities.

Surgical Technologist for the Surgery Center of the Main Line Shift: Full-time (40 hours per week, 8 hour days) - Assists surgical team during operative procedures by arranging and inventorying sterile set-up for operations and passing items to doctors and nurses as needed - Assists in preparing and moving patients and in cleaning the operating theater - Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals - Performs a variety of tasks and works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
Requirements: - Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technologists - Current ORT certification, preferred - 2-3 years of OR experience - Sterile Processing experience is also a plus, but will train Experience in ortho, ENT, plastics is required, additional experience in other specialties a plus - Current BLS Certification - Must be willing to travel to one of other facilities to fulfill hours requirement.
