Performs pre-placement and periodic nursing assessments on applicants, employees and volunteers. Administers vaccines in accordance with policy. Demonstrates keen clinical diagnostic nursing judgement and understanding of the concepts of infection control and occupational health nursing. Promotes maintenance of beneficial health habits and prevention of illness among employees and volunteers; promotes safe work practices and working environments and maintains thorough written records, documentation and statistics. Uses knowledge of patient's age and cultural diversity into the provision of care to the employees/volunteers. Contributes to the quality of nursing care through excellence in customer service and performance improvement that demonstrates positive outcomes in patient care. Supports the organization's vision and mission.
