Summary: The Business Intelligence Analyst will analyze, provide specifications for, and develop reports and dashboards for end user consumption. In addition, the BI Analyst may perform the following functions:
Design and plan BI solutions, as well as debug, monitor, and troubleshoot BI solutions.
Write relational and multidimensional database queries.
Form productive relationships with customers by listening, clarifying, and responding effectively.
Participate on project teams.
Responsible for relationship with vendors and opening and coordinating issues with vendors.
Responsible for writing fundamental documentation in a clear, concise manner, adhering to standards.
Successful candidates should have experience in the following:
Experience with business intelligence tools such as Microsoft BI stack (e.g., SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS), SAP Business Objects, Qlikview, Spotfire, Tableau, or Crystal Reports.
Experience with programming in SQL, R, SAS, Python, or equivalent programming languages.
Familiarity with creating cubes and has experience with data warehousing.
Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification and methodology development.
Position requires at least 3 years of direct applicable experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.
A BA/BS degree in IS or Business preferred.
Relevant Information Technology certifications preferred.
