The Home Health Specialty Pharmaceutical Patient Account Rep maintains patient accounts to ensure accurate and timely delivery of CCHH specialty drugs. Provides information to customers about company products and services. Acts as a liaison between customers and the company to resolve account or service problems. Receives and processes patient reimbursement information from patients, physicians, hospitals, and third party payors. Processes claims for the CCHH Specialty Drug Division to include the billing and collections activities. Reconciles patient accounts and works with accounts receivable; providing the HH Specialty Pharmaceutical Drug Supervisor with financial, volume, and trending data. Responsible for mentoring and training HH Speciality Pharmaceutical Patient Account Associate.
High School diploma required.
Minimum three(3) years experience dealing with health care reimbursement.
High degree of interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of specialty pharmaceutical billing procedures.
Knowledge of intake procedures.
Extensive knowledge and experience in billing specialty pharmaceutical medications.
Must be familiar with all aspects of the reimbursement process.
Must have ability to interpret contracts with payers and maintain payer relationship to keep CCHH records current and in compliance.
Maturity to withstand pressure that may arise in relation to the public and/or administration.
