SandyPines is a 149 bed residential psych facility servicing children and adolescents ages 5 to 17. The facility is located in beautiful sub-tropical South Florida and is nestled beside Jonathan Dickinson Sate Park which creates a rustic, roomy outdoor atmosphere. SandyPines is at the county line of both Palm Beach and Martin Counties and is just minutes away from the shores of the Atlantic Ocean.
Maintenance is in charge of repairing and troubleshooting equipment, systems and furniture. Maintenance requires knowledge of electrical, phone and HVAC systems as well of the structural makeup of the building.
Maintenance repairs furniture, replaces parts in various equipment, inspects the structural integrity of the building, electrical and fire systems. Also responds to other emergencies maintenance is needed as requested but not limited to.
Duties and Responsibilities
Field maintenance request from staff. Install, repair locks Replace light bulbs Fix windows Repair sinks, toilets, and other plumbing equipment Repair furniture Grounds cleanup such as trash and debris Inspect and repair electrical outlets and switches Keep logs of all maintenance performed Paint and patch walls Inspects heating and cooling systems Troubleshoot and Perform basic mechanical repair on HVAC, chiller, boiler and pump equipment Works with a team of maintenance workers to determine the best course of action for required projects
