The Project Policy Analyst III will serve as the lead Research Analyst for multiple federally and privately funded, medium-sized pediatric research projects. The Project Policy Analyst III is responsible for the coordination of the research grants, reporting, tracking of study milestones, and the development and management of study databases.REQUIRED--Experience managing projects from inception to completion.--Planning and coordination skills to analyze project goals and objectives; make accurate short-and long-term projections to establish needs and resource requirements; and to track/assist in management of budget to meet those requirements.--Excellent organizational skills to determine workload priorities and to enable timely completion of tasks. --Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to express ideas assertively, clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing. --Exercise tact and diplomacy in dealing with others to secure necessary information and cooperation from a variety of group of individuals.--Experience dealing with highly confidential patient information, security, and financial matters.--Experience facilitating/managing meetings, including the development of meeting agendas.--Experience with various software tools such as MS Office, and specific applications, including but not limited to: Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and REDCap.PREFERRED--Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Administration,Social Sciences, Statistics or related field.--Experience with database development and management.--Experience in project management within a Healthcare environment.--Knowledge of University of California, Davis, policies and procedures pertaining to financial administration, payroll, personnel and other business-related activities.
