The position assists with coordination and support for federally funded research grants at the MIND Institute that are examining access to early intervention services, school transition services and school systems' implementation of interventions for children diagnosed with Autism. Under the direction of senior staff, the incumbent will assist with coordinating the scheduling and tracking of study visits , preparing research study materials for community partnership meetings, administering and scoring questionnaires, tracking assessment completion, and performing transcript coding. Associated tasks include preparing general lab research project meeting materials, tracking participant responses and following study procedures. Other duties include research data entry, study meeting set up and preparation, training volunteers to assist with data entry and editing surveys using Qualtrics.REQUIRED--B.A. /B.S. in Psychology, Human Development or similar field and/or equivalent combination of experience/training.--Experience volunteering or working in a research setting --Knowledge of HIPAA standards and regulations--Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word--Excellent and effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills --Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize workload and meet deadlines--Demonstrated skills performing detail-oriented tasks with a high degree of accuracyPREFERRED--Knowledge of Autism Spectrum DisordersSPECIAL REQUIREMENT - THIS POSITION MAY BE SUBJECT TO A CRIMINAL BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION, DRUG SCREEN, LIVE SCAN FINGERPRINTING, MEDICAL EVALUATION CLEARANCE, AND FUNCTIONAL CAPACITY ASSESSMENT
