The Clinical Pharmacist provides professional pharmaceutical services in the ICU setting to patients, healthcare providers and hospital staff. The Clinical Pharmacist ensures optimal pharmaceutical therapy outcomes and prospectively develops pharmaceutical plans and medication therapy education for each patient. All activities are done in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations with the health and welfare of the patient paramount. This position will provide clinical pharmacy coverage for a variety of services including but not limited to general pediatrics, surgery, cardiology, endocrinology, neurology and nephrology.
Graduate from an accredited ACPE school of pharmacy is required
Previous experience with pediatric patients in a hospital setting is required
Current license or license eligible to practice as a registered pharmacist in Texas
CPR - BLS is required, PALS required for critical care areas only
