Brief Description of Duties: Working under the general supervision of the Principal Investigator, the incumbent will manage clinical research studies in the clinical research setting, coordinating all activities within a protocol related to study assessment, patient recruitment, research study performance, data acquisition, data entry and reports. The successful applicant must possess a high level of judgement, collaboration, motivation and work well in a group. Conduct clinical research including screening patients for inclusion in studies, consenting patients and assisting with the overall performance of the research protocols. Draft and amend documentation for Internal Review Board (IRB) projects and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clinical trials and compose Safety Monitoring Committee (SMC) reports and adverse event documentation; Obtain and record data. Enter and analyze data using Electronic Data Capture software, MS Excel, etc; Communicate with attending physicians and teams. Supervise students/trainees and attend meetings.
