Summary: The Epic Technical Manager leads the design,implementation and support of the technical architecture for the Epicenvironment. Provides technical leadership for the Epicinfrastructure team including, but not limited to, strategic technicalguidance, project management, and optimization for the Epic solution. Ensuresthe availability and adequate performance for servers, network, storage and allrelated processes. Also, oversees system security, disaster recoveryplanning and implementation requirements for the Epic infrastructure. Partnerswith the Epic and Enterprise Architecture teams to ensure efficientfunctionality and performance.
Bachelor's degree required.
1 2 years of experience in a supervisory or managementlevel role; ability to demonstrate strong leadership within matrix teams.
Expert knowledge of healthcare industry.
Expert knowledge of networks, virtual desktop, serveroperating systems, EMC SAN storage technologies, VMWare Server Virtualization,and overall infrastructure design and architecture.
Prior experience implementing Epic Systems preferred.
Proven track record of successfully delivering projectson-time and on-budget.
PMP/ Project Management Certification preferred.
