This Quality Improvement Consultant will be responsible for:
Functioning as a pooled resource to provide analytical and consulting support for the functional areas under the Transplant Center.
Coordinating the Quality Assurance Process Improvement Plan and ensuring compliance with all regulatory bodies.
Collecting data and reporting quality assurance measurements to the Pediatric Transplant Center Quality Triad.
Working with each program under the Transplant Center to develop, monitor, and trend process improvement initiatives.
Working with PPSQ to further the development of the QAPI and to report, track, and perform root cause analysis on all adverse events.
Communicating with all levels of personnel.
To qualify, you must have:
The knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts typically acquired through completion of Bachelor's degree in quality management, math, science, business or other related field and a minimum of 3 years' experience in healthcare or business setting. Experience interpreting and developing programs based on regulatory requirements preferred. Master's Degree is preferred.
Computer literacy skills including word processing, report preparation, and health care data management.
Excellent organizational, oral and written communication. The ability to communicate orally and in writing to a wide variety of audiences both formally and informally.
A demonstration of good visual, verbal, and hearing skills, and analytical and problem-solving skills. Intense concentration and attention.
A knowledge of Lean Six Sigma tools and methodology.
