Christiana Care Health Systems is seeking qualified candidates for several part-timePatient/Physician Access Coordinator openings (Day, Evening & Overnight shifts). The PAC will be primarily responsible for promoting patient and physician satisfaction through proactive administrative services. Some of these services include; collaborating with physicians/office to ensure a seamless delivery of patient access activities, facilitating the authorization process to minimize direct involvement with physicians/office staff, providing consistent education to physicians/office staff regarding changes in third party billing, customer service, answering phones, and assisting with other assigned tasks.

Education & Requirements :
High School Diploma, Associates degree in Business/Medical related field preferred
Two years of experience in a medical office or hospital setting is preferred
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted
Strong written, oral, and communication skills are required
Knowledge of medical terminology
Must be detail orientated
