BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB
This position performs both clinical and administrative tasks for which certification encompasses.
Position performs nusing duties involving specified nursing care for patients delegated by and performed under the direction of a Nursing Supervisor.
Position performs Patient Services duties which perform front office operations including: patient scheduling, insurance verification, demographic intake and revenue cycle operations.
If applying for Certified Medical Assistant:
High School/GED Required Certification from a postsecondary medical assisting program accredited by an accrediting body recognized by the United States Department of Education (USDE) or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) .
Minimum Work Experience
1-3 years previous medical office setting preferred.
Pediatric experience preferred

Heavy lifting, pushing and pulling is required up to 50 lbs occasionally, 20-30 lbs frequently and 10 lbs constantly to move objects of up to 150 lbs. Sudden emergency situations have the potential for exposure to lifting or moving of up to 150 lbs. Frequent bending, walking, sitting, squatting, reaching and standing are required. Keyboard/computer use and/or repetitive motions may be required.
