Integrates nursing science, computer science, and information science to enhance Clinical Information Systems in the organization. This includes the development and evaluation of applications, tools, processes, and structures which assist clinicians with the management of data in providing care to patients and supporting clinical practice. Works collaboratively with Information Systems and other clinical departments in problem solving and assists with resolution. Assists in coordinating aspects of planning, design, development, training, implementation, communication, maintenance and evaluation of existing or future software. Acts as a liaison between all nursing departments and vendors.
Bachelors Degree in Nursing Preferred
Minimum Work Experience
2+ years nursing experience required.
2 years clinical informatics experience OR 2+ years experience with Meditech as an end-user
Required Licenses/Certifications for position
TN or Compact RN Licensure Required

Heavy lifting, pushing and pulling is required up to 50 lbs occasionally, 20-30 lbs frequently and 10 lbs constantly to move objects of up to 150 lbs.
