Summary: Emerging IT professional within the BusinessIntelligence family developing and applying expertise in one or more ITdisciplines that support Cook Children's infrastructure.
Jobs in this family are responsible for developing, testing,maintaining, installing, and/or deploying technologies. In addition, theyare responsible for the establishment, development, and promotion of standardarchitectures, as well as hardware and software components. This roleprovides consulting services to application development teams and/or customersregarding technologies and the application of specific technology standards.
Disciplines for this job description include: Amalga,Business Intelligence (BI), ETL processes & tools, SQL development andoptimization, business process monitoring (BPM) &key-performance-indicators (KPI), reports & dashboards, analytics, databasedesign, data warehousing, source code control, and the Microsoft BI stack (e.g.,SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS).
Position requires at least 3 years of direct experience anda high school diploma or equivalent.
A BA/BS degree in IS or Business preferred.
Prior experience as a Business Intelligence Developer inhealthcare is preferred.
Strong experience with business intelligence tools:Microsoft BI stack, SAP Business Objects, Qlikview, Spotfire, or Tableau ishighly preferred.
Strong experience with SQL Development is a highlypreferred.
Epic Certification in Clarity Data model(s) is highlypreferred.
Experience with Reporting Workbench and Radar is a plus.
If not certified in Epic Clinical Data Model, certificationis required within 6 months from employment, including 2 test retakes.
If not currently Epic certified, must take and pass Epicpre-test.
