Summary: The Health Plan Application Manager isresponsible for the management of analysts for the support and optimization ofan assigned set of Tapestry modules and resources, in order to maintainappropriate functionality and performance utilizing established CCHCSmethodologies. Responsibilities of the Health Plan Manager include, but are notlimited to: Manages support, issues, application configuration,workflows, data conversions, data validation, reports etc. Supports andanalyzes business operations during build decisions. Prioritizesrequested changes to applications. Manages software updates. Ensures standardization of name and numbering conventions. Manages thebusiness relationships among end users, third parties and Epic implementationteam including communications. Establishes direction and support for the team.
Bachelor's degree in required.
Detailed experience with health plan operations thatincludes, but not limited to, AP Claims and Capitation, Eligibility andEnrollment, Utilization Management, Provider / Contract / Benefit Configurationetc.
Expert knowledge of healthcare industry.
Prior management/leadership experience preferred.
Self-motivated and directed.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Prior experience implementing Epic Systems preferred.
Ability to set and manage priorities judiciously.
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communicationskills.
Two years' experience with health care informationsystems.

Project management experience preferred.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification:
Epic certification required within 9 months ofemployment.
