The Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, seeks a full time, board certified pediatric hematologist/oncologist to join the existing division of twenty-five faculty, ten fellows and eighteen nurse practitioners. We are seeking a qualified candidate for a non-tenure track position as an Assistant Professor/Associate Professor in the Clinician-Educator track, with experience and interest in non-malignant pediatric hematology, including hemostasis/thrombosis (bleeding and clotting disorders). Responsibilities will include clinical care, teaching, and participation in clinical and translational research. We are federally funded as a Hemophilia Treatment Center, with a dedicated team of nurses, genetic counselors, social service and child life staff complimented by ancillary staff focused on providing comprehensive care. Applicants should have strong leadership skills and the ability to work with teams on patient focused, division-centric, and hospital wide initiatives. Rank and salary will be commensurate with experience. Lurie Children’s is a 288-bed facility that provides comprehensive tertiary and quaternary care, and serves patients from the Midwest, the US and all over the world. With 18 clinic rooms, a 22 bed Ambulatory Infusion Center and 24 bed inpatient unit, our hematology services include comprehensive, family centered care focusing on the clinical and psychosocial needs of the child.
