Clinical Massage Therapist:
Wednesday and Friday availability is needed
Monday or Tuesday are additional days available
Mid-morning to 530pm
Additional days can be picked up to cover vacations
Experience desired for Post-Partum, oncology, and lymphatic drainage massage; experience in one area, or all three would be a plus!
The Center for Integrative Medicine provides Integrative Therapies including Massage, Acupuncture, Healing Touch, Nutrition counseling, Therapeutic Yoga and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction classes. In addition to seeing clients in the center, staff provides treatment for patients in the hospital and daily for new moms on our mom baby unit.
This is a PRN status position, similar to a light part time position. Shifts vary in the range of 8am to 4pm, sometimes to 530pm/ 6pm Additional hours could be picked up to cover vacations as needed.
Mom and Baby unit for post-partum massage
Massage clinic (work comp, auto injury, deep tissue, cranial, oncology patients)
Inpatient units: surgery, trauma, oncology, medical unit, for hand, foot, scalp, healing touch

Provides professional massage therapy services for clients to provide relaxation, help restore function, and relieve pain.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Ensure the SCL Health Touch by providing exemplary customer service. Provides active input to the development of idea and action plans to assure the SCL touch. Assess, implement and evaluate massage therapy sessions for clients within the Center for Complementary Health and Healing.. Communicate effectively with an interdisciplinary team including client, family, physician, referral sources, team members, peers, support staff and management, through written and verbal means. Document according to department policies and applicable regulations Facilitate the delivery of age related care skills as defined by area client population. Assist in creating a calm and healing environment for clients and staff. Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory guidelines and requirements.
Education/Experience High school diploma or GED required. Colorado License with DORA for Massage Therapy Graduate of an accredited or approved school of massage therapy with a minimum of 500 hours of massage therapy training. Prefer 1000 hours of massage therapy training. Knowledge of theory in massage therapy practice as necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of patients served in assigned service area. Oncology Massage Therapist must have a minimum qualification of Lymphedema Certification and basic training in Oncology Massage. Oncology Certification preferred. Lymphedema Massage Therapist must have a minimum qualification of Lymphedema Certification Pre-Natal and Postpartum Massage Therapist must have a minimum of basic training in Pre-Natal and Postpartum Massage. Total of 16 hours Pre-Natal and 16 hours of Postpartum. Infant Massage requires a certification in Infant Massage. Any specialized Massage Therapy modality must have evidence of specific required minimum training.
Other Qualifications Prefer massage therapists with additional training in a healthcare environment. Prefer massage therapist with cross-training in related complementary care areas including:
Therapeutic Touch/Healing Touch, Reiki, aromatherapy, reflexology, or acupressure. Experience in Workers Comp/Third Party Massage and Documentation preferred.
