The Vice President of Quality, Patient Safety, and Clinical Integration provides senior leadership and comprehensive oversight for Sinai Health System and Sinai Medical Group for Quality, Patient Safety, and Disease management across the continuum of care, Case Management, Social Work, Infection Control, Risk Management and the Endocrine/Diabetes Service Line.
Develops and implements Clinical Integration strategies to achieve the triple aim of improvement in health outcomes, the patient experience, and provision of cost-effective care. Fosters integration of leaders to develop the SHS Strategic Quality Plan in concert with the SHS Overall Strategic Plan.
Plays an integral role in the identification, development and mentoring of leaders and other individuals in SHS in the creation and nurturing of a performance improvement approach to daily work, emphasizing teamwork, measurement and accountability. In addition serves as Program Manager for SHS Projects as determined by CEO and EVP/COO and prepares /maintains SHS Readiness for accreditation, government and private mandates/incentive programs and public reporting initiatives.

Provides Leadership and Direct Supervision to: System Director of Quality, System Director Patient Safety/Patient Safety Officer/Risk Management, Infection Control Managers, Manager Ambulatory Quality, Director of the Endocrine-Diabetes Service Line, Director of Disease Management and Case Management and provides Leadership and Supervision to Project Team Participants
Responsible for building, managing, and developing a high performing team to deliver against aggressive hiring targets in a competitive market. Responsible for employment / recruitment functions of the HR department. Trains, evaluates and supervises team responsible for recruiting, interviewing, employing and onboarding new caregivers of the system. Partner with leaders, caregivers, and recruitment team to develop and constantly build a solid and attractive employment brand, onboarding experience, and a reliable recruitment process.
Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 10 years in healthcare quality, preferably in an acute care environment. At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience including 6-8 years at a Executive Director/AVP /VP level directing/overseeing quality, disease management/case management, infection control programs Experience managing hospital/health system collaborator's Demonstrated knowledge of developing/planning information systems to support quality/disease management infrastructure Demonstrated experience in program development, training/education, project management Abilities to foster teamwork across the health system, mentor staff and other leaders in the areas of Quality/Six Sigma/Process Improvement Foster and cultivate relationships with external bodies such as the IHA, IHI, CMS, NAPH Experience in public health/safety net hospitals desirable
