Evaluates, designs, tests, implements, upgrades, supports and maintains software applications.
Configures, tests, implements, and documentation of the systems.
Analyzes and documents user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems. Reviews system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations.
Documents workflows, build activities, change management activities, end user notifications, training information and status reporting in the appropriate system.
Develops, documents and revises system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards.
Expands or modifies system to serve new purposes or improve work flow.
Reviews and analyzes the system and performance indicators to locate problems, and correct errors. Escalates problems and issues to appropriate staff to ensure timely resolution
Coordinates and links the application within an organization to increase compatibility for information sharing.
Coordinates projects, schedules and facilitates meetings as necessary to complete assignments

Mentors Application Analysts to improve their skills and prepare them for more responsibility.
Serves as a technical expert in the assigned applications for users, other STSC team members, vendors and management. Serves as the subject matter expert in the assigned applications for system design and workflow modifications.

Performs other duties as assigned.
Participates and supports an on call schedule based on department needs.
- Associates Degree OR Equivalent work experience in a related area may be considered in lieu of education.
- For EPIC analyst – EPIC certification or proficiency, or the ability to achieve EPIC Certification or proficiency within 6 months of employment.
- Three (3) years' experience with performance of Application Analyst duties such as building, testing, support, implementation, upgrades, configure, troubleshooting and documentation.
- Five (5) years' experience in healthcare, technology or related field.
