Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Patient Services Coordinator \(Per Diem, Day Shift\) to work in Women and Infants Outpatient Services at Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA\.
We are seeking a detail focused, caring, and thoughtful individual to complete patient services coordination while promoting the goals and upholding the ideals of Swedish Medical Center in providing excellent care and experience for our diverse patient population\. The Patient Services Coordinator is a member of the Women and Infants Outpatient Services team and is responsible for day to day functions of the Swedish Birth and Family Education Program and the Swedish Breastfeeding Center's pump rental program and associated retail\.
In this position you will:
Assist with client registration for Birth and Family education classes including answering phones, email registering clients for classes, taking payment and preparing class rosters
Oversees the functions of the breast\-pump rental service including rental, inventory tracking, cleaning, training and distribution
Assists with the associated breastfeeding retail sales
Interact with patients, vendor representatives and Swedish employees
Required qualifications for this position include:
High school education or GED equivalent
Experience in an office setting using computers and office equipment
Knowledge of MS Word and Windows based applications
Strong customer service skills
Ability to prioritize, organize and complete multiple tasks with frequent interruptions
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Associates Degree or equivalent from a college or technical school
Experience in a hospital or clinic setting
