Providence is calling a Security Officer/EMT (0.0 FTE, Variable Shift) to Providence St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, Montana.

**Please note that this position is on-call with no guarantee of hours.
In this position you will:**
Patrol the facility and grounds, enforce security policies and procedures, and maintain general order.
Communicate with public safety agencies, monitor alarm systems, and conduct emergency response drills (fire and infant abduction).
Respond to emergency calls following appropriate procedures.
Provide Basic Life Support (BLS) patient transports between St. Patrick Hospital facilities.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Montana State Registry EMT-B Certified
OSHA HAZWOPR Certification within 2 years of hire
Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Valid Montana State driver's license
Motor vehicle record and current insurance
Basic computer skills
Included in initial training: Montana Licensed Proprietary Security Officer Certification, IHSS Basic Security Officer Certified, IHSS Basic Safety Officer Certified, NCPI Crisis Intervention Certified, CPR and Rotor Wing Ambulance Emergency Procedure & Safety Training
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Facility HAZMAT Technician Certification
Training as a police or security officer in the military, state, federal and/or private agency
Military, law enforcement, private security or Emergency Medical Technician experience
