The Department of Urology at the University of Iowa is seeking to hire a Pediatric Urologist. We are accepting applications for a faculty position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or full Professor on either the tenure or non-tenure, clinical track.
The Department of Urology has a verifiable need for a fourth pediatric urologist and the incoming faculty member will enjoy the new 250 bed free standing Stead Children's Hospital. The position offers the opportunity to see all pediatric urology cases or develop any sub-specialty interest, including robotics. An efficient modified block scheduling system allows for easy scheduling of surgical cases.
There are no other pediatric urologists or academic medical centers in the state of Iowa and the closest competition is three hours away. Faculty enjoy excellent salary and benefits.
