The School of Dentistry offers advanced education programs leading to graduate certificates in five dental specialty areas recognized by the American Dental Association: endodontics, oral and maxillofacial surgery, orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics, periodontics and a pediatric dentistry program in cooperation with Children's Mercy Hospital. The school also offers advanced education certificate program in general dentistry.
