A position is available for a BC/CE Pediatric Critical Care Intensivist, Cardiac ICU experience preferred. The University of Maryland School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, Division of Critical Care serves more than 1000 patients per year with a 19-bed facility that provides expert multi-disciplinary care, and an active pediatric critical care transport system as part of the University of Maryland Children Hospital. The ten physician service supports an accredited Fellowship program, and is an integral part of resident education. In addition to providing clinical services for pediatric patients with life-threatening, complex medical conditions, the critical care service supports a patient/family-centered culture.
The successful candidate will have a faculty appointment in the Department of Pediatrics of the University of Maryland School of Medicine at an academic level to be determined by experience.
