Summary: Jobs in this family are responsible fordeveloping, testing, maintaining, installing, and/or deploying of applicationsand related information technologies. In addition, they areresponsible for the establishment, development, and promotion of standardarchitectures, as well as hardware and software components. Thisrole provides consulting services regarding how to integrate informationtechnologies into clinical and business processes and the effective applicationof industry and organizational technology standards.
This position is an emerging information technologyprofessional within the Systems Analyst family. This position participatesin the implementation, testing, installation and support of clinical andbusiness applications. Expected activities include but are notlimited to:
Modification of applications as needed to meet userrequirements.
Definition and development of reports.
Participation in application upgrades.
Participation in the resolution of problems and issuesassociated with installed applications and related information technologies.
Diagnosis of failures encountered in application softwareand related technologies, quality control of all applicationimplementations/enhancements prior to release to customers.
Maintains an awareness of vendor and industrydevelopments/plans in area(s) of responsibility.
Communication and documentation of all relevant items andactivities.
Position requires at least 3 years of direct experience anda high school diploma or equivalent.
BA/BS degree in IS or Business is preferred.
Epic Home Health Certification strongly preferred.
May have an equivalent combination of education and/orexperience in lieu of education and/or experience stated above.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification:
Relevant Information Technology certifications preferred.
Epic Certification required (Epic certification is requiredwithin 6 months from employment, including 2 test retakes).
