UCSF School of Medicine and UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland Division of Bone Marrow Transplant, Allergy, and Immunology, Department of Pediatrics Assistant Professor, in Residence Faculty Series
The Division of Bone Marrow Transplant, Allergy, and Immunology in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of California, San Francisco is recruiting a physician with clinical expertise and training in pediatric hematology/oncology and bone marrow transplantation to launch an independent laboratory research broadly focused in the areas of hematopoiesis, hematopoietic stem and progenitor cell biology, and related inherited disorders of blood cell production and maturation. The successful applicant will have fellowship training in pediatric hematology/oncology, experience caring for children with inherited hematologic disorders, and a proven track record of research productivity as exemplified by peer reviewed research publications and success in obtaining independent research funding at the K08 or equivalent level. The appointment will be made at the Assistant Professor rank in the in-Residence series. Candidates must possess a medical degree and license, Board certification in pediatrics, and Board subspecialty certification or eligibility in pediatric hematology/oncology.
