The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Infectious Diseases, at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time Investigator at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor. Responsibilities include clinical inpatient and outpatient care of children with complex infections and compromised immunity. The candidate will be expected to develop and maintain an extramurally funded clinical, translational, and/or basic science research program related to infections and inflammation in the immune compromised host. The candidate will contribute to medical education of trainees including fellows on the infectious diseases service.
Qualified candidates will have an MD-MPH or MD-PhD, be board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Infectious Diseases, and have a strong record of research productivity consistent with the level of past experience. Preferred qualifications include expertise in the area of the microbiome and pediatric hematopoietic stem cell transplant.
The start date is negotiable and the position will remain open until filled.
