The Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago are seeking a full-time non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Instructor or Assistant Professor to serve as a pediatric psychologist to work with the Division of Pulmonary Medicine’s sleep disorder service. This individual will join a multidisciplinary child and adolescent psychiatry department in a nationally ranked, freestanding children’s hospital located on the medical school campus. The psychologist in this position will work with specialists in sleep medicine to: (1) conduct evaluations and treatment of children and adolescents in outpatient sleep clinics for CPAP desensitization and compliance, circadian rhythm disorders, behavioral insomnia and other sleep related disorder; (2) teach in multidisciplinary pediatric and mental health training programs; 3) engage in scholarly activities, including research.
Clinical experience with children and adolescents in pediatric settings is required; experience working with children and adolescents experience sleep disorders is preferred. A PhD in clinical psychology and APA-approved internship are required, at least one of which has a focus on clinical child or pediatric psychology training.
Qualified candidates will have obtained a PhD in a clinical psychology training program and completed an APA-approved internship specializing in clinical child or pediatric psychology. The individual will also have completed a fellowship in pediatric or clinical child and adolescent psychology and have experience in a pediatric medical setting.
Rank and salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. Full-time position. Start date immediate after licensure in Illinois. Applications will be evaluated as received.
