The Director of Environmental Services and Facility Appearance is responsible for providingstructure and support for Cook Children's Medical Center Environmental Services department, Facility Appearance, linen control/management program and the grounds and landscaping program.This structure and support will ensure strategies and resources are in place to meet and exceed the Medical Center's expectations of providing a clean, safe and effective environment of care for our patients, families, visitors, staff, volunteers and physicians.
Bachelor's degree in related field required.
5 years experience in management, preferably in a children's hospital or pediatric setting.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification:
American Society for Healthcare Environmental Services and/or American Society for Healthcare Engineering Certification preferred.
