Summary Description: The Department of Urology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center is currently seeking a full time Division Chief of Pediatric Urology in the Department of Urology. The successful candidate will oversee a busy service at Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital (MSCH)/NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. The ideal candidate is eligible for appointment at the Associate or Professor level and has at least 10 years of experience in an academic healthcare setting. A track record of successful and dynamic leadership in a major children's healthcare system combined with a national reputation for scholarly investigation in the field of pediatric urology is required. The individual will embrace the opportunity to collaborate with the leaders of other surgical and medical pediatric divisions, as well as, the hospital's Chief Operating Officer, to deliver complex care in a quaternary setting. The ability to recruit and retain top clinical faculty, as well as, grow a network of satellite outpatient sites within the region is expected. The Department of Urology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center is 101 years old and consistently ranked among the top ten in US NEWS and World Report. The department is currently ranked 5th overall in NIH research funding in the United States and is the recipient of the only NJDDK O'Brien Research Center of Excellence grant in Pediatric Urology in the United States. The Morgan�Stanley Children's Hospital has been the top ranked Children's Hospital in New York for the past 17 years.
Minimum Qualifications: Completion of residency, fellowship and training in Pediatric Urology.
