DUTIES: Medical Office Assistant responsibilities include but are not limited to: 1. Clerical: Preparation of new patient records Ordering supplies Booking appointments, arranging for follow-up on patients, and making phone calls to track patients who missed appointments. Contacting affiliated agencies, arranging for specimen pick-ups, and preparations of CVB. 2. Clinical: Greeting patients Preparing children for examination Assisting with phlebotomy and with collection of lab specimens Storing specimens appropriately (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE ABOVE POSITION DESCRIPTION) QUALIFICATIONS: REQUIRED: High School Diploma/GED. Two plus years administrative experience. Medical Office experience a plus.
